I'm actually commenting on the April 22, 2007 entry, but there isn't a comment option for that one.
I can't be the Amy Ryding you're looking for because I can't think how we could possibly know each other, but my name is Amy Ryding and I have the first line of that poem written down somewhere. It's giving me the most delicious sense of deja vu. Anyway, just wanted to comment. I enjoyed the poem.
